Daniel Liebskind’s New Project - Three Skyscrapers in Rome

A well-known New York based architect Daniel Libeskind, famous by the Memorial Ground Zero and One World Trade Center in Manhattan, has unveiled his new project, three high-rises in Rome, Italy.

The towers will rise in Tor di Valle business district near AS Roma football stadium. The height of the towers will vary with the tallest one reaching 220 m. Towers will have an angular form leaving an impression as they have been cut out of the same piece, and from certain angles, will look like the handset of the Trimphone - a fixed-line telephone introduced in the UK in the 1960s. The base of the building will be surrounded by a 3000-square-meter public piazza connected to the stadium by a wide shopping street.

Daniel Liebskind stated that making an architectural contribution to the Eternal City is a treasured opportunity, and that Rome will have a world-class business park connected to the stadium that will provide a vibrant, sustainable neighbourhood.
