The New NoMad Hotel LA

We are so excited about the revitalization of downtown LA.

The new NoMad at 7th and Olive adds to the energy at the heart of downtown with this stunning renovation of the Giannini Place, built in the 1920s as the Bank of Italy headquarters.

The original coffered ceilings and intricate Deco plastered columns had been covered up with years of paint, drywall - the intricate restoration by designer Jacques Garcia has brought these beautiful details back to their former glory.

We sat in a sumptuous banquette amidst crushed velvet drapery and fringed cushions, ate delicious food by Chef Daniel Humm  and enjoyed the re-found splendor.

And we recommend a visit to the basement vault, too!
